Save Stradbroke Island - FIDO is supporting the Friends of Stradbroke Island and other leading environmental groups in calling on the State government to end sandmining on Stradbroke Island. Greater Brisbane doesn't have enough large areas of forest featuring koalas and other special plants and animals to allow this one to be eaten up. It should be a National Park not a national shame.

World Heritage in Danger FIDO campaigned for 17 years to get Fraser Island World Heritage recognition has now asked the World Heritage Committee in Paris to identify its listing as being in Danger.
